See Eric, this is why I keep recommending your stuff. Out of control customer service. This is definitely my next buy.

I'm definitely picking up one of these to match my rear diffuser.

Does FT86SF already have the updated rod ends?

You're welcome. We're car enthusiasts here too, just of the nerd type . We would want something that doesn't fade either, just sad that we had to do it all on our own.

They will shortly. Due to a machining mistake, we are running behind on the support rods. They are at ano currently, as soon as I get them, I will be shipping the assemblies (support rod and rod ends) priority to FT86SF. No units will be going out with red rod ends anymore.

I should note, the reason it took so long for us to implement this is at times, it took 5-6 months for a unit to finally fade. Hard to quickly fix an issue when they don't fade for half a year.

Awesome. Thanks for the great customer service Eric.

I CANNOT wait to receive my splitter + race upgrade!

How much longer are you thinking for this current batch??

I've been waiting a little over a month now and am starting to have panic attacks waiting for this! haha, jk. Still, can't wait!

Everything minus the support rods (due to manufacturing issue with the threads, had to send them back and be re-threaded ) are making there way to FT-86 SpeedFactory right now. I expect them to get them Wednesday or Thursday.

I have expedited anodizing on the support rods and will then expedite shipping to FT-86 SpeedFacotry of these assemblies. We are working on communicating better to not run into back-orders like this as well. Constantly improving.

Alright, the support rods for the current batch have been shipped with the new fade free rod ends. Should get to FT86-SpeedFactory on Tuesday. Sorry for the delay.

I have only shipped about 6 sets of new rod ends to customers so far, please get with us if you want to replace the red units!

Thanks,
Eric

Figured I would tie these two threads together as it is an "add on" to the front splitter. We designed front wheel deflectors that reduce drag up front and has an add on to our splitter.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...59#post2385659

We have more parts in store to further enhance the front end/front splitter and will update when they have been designed, tested, and produced .

That's odd, they must have had a few spare sets of race upgrades that still had the red rod ends which they shipped out when they got the splitters. The latest race upgrades didn't come for another week after the splitters. Please e-mail or PM me with your address and I'll get you the black units.
