This just shows how personal a 'good' exhaust is - I can't stand the VQ exhaust, I think it sounds like a cow in distress.

I ordered a front pipe but there were some delivery issues. I had to do a work around - should have that within a couple of weeks.

Also recently ordered an Openflash header, that'll be 1.5-2 months unfortunately. But once that's almost here, I'll order an OP as well. And there will be sound clips.
I'm having the same issue with alignment - passenger side tip sticks out an extra 1/4"-1/2" (I think it varies with temperature) past the drivers side tip. Right now it's cold from sitting overnight and the drivers side tip is almost flush with the bumper but the passenger side is a good 1/2" out. I think alignment was much closer to even when it was first installed but maybe with things expanding and contracting compared to how it came out of the box it got out of line a bit.

Any luck with resolving this alignment issue? I'm gonna be adding a diffuser soon and deciding if I should wait on the diffuser until after I can take the car into the shop so I can get the exhaust adjusted since the diffuser would block access to exhaust.

I just have Corsa catback, no other exhaust mods.

there was a fix posted here which was sent to an owner by Corsa. I printed it out and took it to my mechanic. Whether he used it or not I don't know, but he was able to offset the imbalance somewhat. It looks A LOT less obvious than before.

lol... can't say that I've ever heard a distressed cow before. But you're right, to each his own

I'll let people know in here when I made the clip. Maybe I'll do one from inside and one from outside.

NEED HELP!!!

I currently am running a completely stock exhaust except for the Cross Catback. I recently got the Hooker Blackheart front pipe and I have headers on the way but there is one issue. I need to replace the gasket between the mid-pipe and the front pipe but don't know what kind of gasket or what size. I know it isn't the OEM donut gasket but thats about it. If anyone has any knowledge please let me know.

Does Hooker send a new gasket with their front pipe? I have an off brand front pipe and it shipped with a few gaskets, one of which fit with my catback. I would contact Hooker directly and ask.

When I swapped my OEM catback for the Corsa system, the gasket they provided was just a generic two bolt type for 2.5" exhausts. Nothing fancy. Should be able to find it at your local parts store.

Not much to compare it to in terms of sound. I don't think it sounds like any other exhaust

Hooker didn't send any gaskets so I just have to find one myself.

Thanks for the information about the gasket. Another question would the same type of gasket that goes between the front pipe and over pipe fit?

So corsa customer service was amazing. They overnighted me the gasket I needed free of charge and now I'm on my way to a loud car

Within the next month I'll have my full exhaust set up and ready to go. Just waiting on the final parts to come in.

For those wondering the set up will be:
- JDL UEL Catted Headers
- Tanabe Over pipe
- Hooker Blackheart Catted & Resonated front pipe
- Corsa Catback Exhaust

Good to hear Corsa helped you out!

Interested to hear a clip of that setup, I imagine it will be loud!
