You emailed the guys in the US or HQ in Australia? They usually get back to me within a business day or two. They are probably only there on limited days.

For everyone, FYI:

My supercharger will be going on the market next month sometime, whenever I get the new parts (hoses and wiring harness). The supercharger will be available with upgrades or stock. I have DW 770cc injectors, DT flex fuel kit, 95mm, 85mm, 75mm pulleys and multiple belts in each size, CARB tune, custom Tunes, stock ECU, ECUTEK dongle and cable, DT 4bar MAP sensor, and I think that is it. I also have 30 gallons of E85 in six 5-gallon fuel jugs.

Has anyone got the stage 5 setup with flex fuel and 250kw output? Interested to see if anyone's run it reliably as I'm looking at doing it

Not exactly their stage 5 kit as such, but I'm running a Harrop at about 266kw at the wheels, with flex fuel, ACE headers, 65mm pulley, on a Motec. etc

BUT you will need a built bottom end with forged internals, lower comps. is a good idea, upgraded valve springs etc.

I've found it absolutely brilliant... but you need to be realistic that it is now a highly stressed engine unit with all the joy and heartache that can follow.
There are no shortcuts.

So I'm looking at forged internals, etc before even trying to hit 250kW? They also have a stage 3 (non flex-fuel kit) that apparently gives 225kW but I'm guessing will need a built bottom end for that too
They don't have any recommendations for that sort of stuff on the webpage so wasn't really sure

I've been told by CSG that Harrop has put their BRZ kit manufacturing on hold while they develop/retool their current manufacturing processes to account for the new car, the idea being they can manufacture the kit for both engines on the same line. Estimated time of restock is end of year.

I ran my then new Harrop at around 166kw at the wheels for about 4 years of hard driving, with a "standard" engine from new. With an 85mm pulley, and no flex. (but with oil coolers, headers etc).
It was completely reliable, and great fun.
But any more power than that and you will need to start upgrading internals and the driveline parts, to begin to ensure a degree of reliability.
Also remember if you're starting with an already old/used engine, its already going to muddy the waters on engine issues...

Personally I would start off fairly conservative (as I did). Enjoy it. Learn it. Then work out if you want/need the extra grunt and all the extra costs/stresses involved.

The Harrop system itself is a gorgeous piece of kit, beautifully engineered with quality construction...and easily self installed.
And the Melbourne Harrop guys/girls are a class act to deal with too!

I've heard the same thing direct from the Harrop HQ here in Oz too.
They seemed quite excited about the possibilities with the new donk.

Oh that's exciting. I'm excited to see if they do anything to the current kit. I doubt they do much, but new things are exciting!

May I ask how you're getting your hands on new kits? I might be interested.

Have had them for years. Post 2018 my life changed, completely tanking my garage/track time. It's starting to look like that time of my life has somewhat passed, I just haven't given up fully yet.

I think he is trying to understand how you came across two Harrop kits that are brand new. Your sig says you have a 2.2L Harrop kit on one BRZ and a FBM turbo on another BRZ, and you have a RX7. Do you have two other cars not listed that you were planning to put new Harrop SCs on, such that, are you saying you have two Harrop SCs that are brand new and boxed in their original packaging? From someone not knowing you looking from the outside, it sounds a little odd. The story would make sense if you have deep pockets or was part of a shop or race team or something. Most people can barely afford one supercharger let alone have multiple sports cars with several unused superchargers lying around, so more explanation would build some clarity.
