Arrow SUBARU EPC /JAPANESE VERSION INSTALL

Hello guys, here are there directions to install Subaru JDM part catalog on non Japanese OS. Don't ask me where to find it, a simple googling is helpful.
Sometimes you'll find on Buyee Auction and often the price is around 1.500-1800 JPY.
This EPC is useful to identify most parts on sale in Japanese market thus some companies sell them without specifying part no. and in this way you can buy directly (i.g. J P CarParts).Japanparts.com rarely shows part no.

1. Prepare your OS (then you will run in your language, US English, Spanish, German as usual, isn't necessary to run it in Japanese)
- Win10 go to All Settings,Date & Time,Language and Add Language *Japanese* and download all chars set.

- Open Control Panel , open Region then Administrative and select Japanese for non - Unicode program Language.

Done.

2. Once you get .ISO file of SUBARU EPC *4.4GB*, mount it

3. Go to NetFx3 DIR and run install.bat to update framework

4. Come back to DVD root and run install.bat

remember that any OK-enter in Japanese menu is on left!

5. Once installed you will find a new program group named SUBARU EPC-JPN

Now you need to copy the dvd contents onto C:\

6. create in C:\ root a new DIR named Subarudt, this is an important step otherwise no contents copy will be done.

7. Open item C) in Subaru EPC-JPN program Group, select source (mounted ISO image)

8. select the previuos new DIR you created as Subarudt

9. start copy , left command box is OK

When finished you will see done advice *green color* and a new Dir in Subarudt named SEPC1

10. Now you need to define setup, goto A) point of menu and select the path of SEPC1, the contents of dvd you copied before.

DONE!
