logs show this
Vtec off 7000rpm 293gs at 15lbs
Vtec on 7000rpm 432gs at 14.5lbs
The new K20 turbo doesn’t have traditional VTEC on the intake. I guess the idea is that the turbo does enough work. The heads have less flow too. VTEC on the exhaust helps with spool I guess.

I've never understood this. If there's that much of a power increase that only means you should have been on that cam sooner. If you're after the max area under the curve the transition should be smooth as the power of one cam drops off and the other comes on.

Well 130rwhp at 7000rpm. Boost is hitting about the same time the vtec comes in, it spool faster when vtec hits.

Without vtec it does not spin in 2nd gear.
With vtec it cuts loose when vtec turns on and the boost ramps in.
130gs more at 7000rpm
It pulls harder at 15 lbs than fa20 did with 22lbs.

I drove around a week without vtec and their is a huge difference without it and with it.

Cam goes from a 256 duration to 308 duration with more lift and a stage 3 cam will give another 40rwhp.

10lb boost Launch and flat foot shifts. let off at 95mph
What a blast!
Just a little hard to pedal and use flat foot shift in 1st and 2nd.
So what is closing the throttle is it the vsc still active even with it off or is ecutek closing it. This is in first gear Traction control was held down to disable.

you have to push trc off for 4 seconds to completely disable and allow spinning
vsc is not enough
if you see accel100 and throrrle closing normally is because of wheel spin

if you press trc only quickly it wont disable it totally and it will deacticate after 50km/h

then no idea at the mom, it looks like a traction control cut but i can't help you

Try pedal dance
or even the pedal dance that ecutek offers in the app, it s at the end of the list under DTCs, called Traction Control i think
