I would imagine people with the Honda S2000 asked the same exact question, but if you do a quick search the S2000 has depreciated as much as it ever will and in a lot of scenarios is actually increasing in value. I was going to buy a 2005 S2000 with around
40-50k miles for about 13-14k a couple years back, now those same cars are 18-20k.

Also the depreciation on the twins has already peaked in my opinion and wont devalue the cars much more as supply/demand will come into effect if they stop making the twins in the next couple years.

Is it supposed to be the driver from the end of the last episode in final stage?

Lol my fiance can't pick mine out of a parking lot row. Non-car people don't care.

I don't think so, the main character is only 19 years old and it takes place in the year 202X

Toyota officially stated they would like a three car lineup for the Japanese market. The S FR was supposed to take the first level but it appears to be dead after a couple of concepts. Would not see it here anyway probably. The 86 was going to be the mid and the Supra (if that is what they actually call it) the top. This works out well for them because it gives a car in a few different price ranges and still let's people move up when they can.
Subaru has done pretty much that with the WRX and STi for years. On a purely logical view it would not make sense to have two performance cars that are so close but from a business sense it works for them.

FIFY, but yes. Exactly like that.

She would make me go get my own jacket in the original circumstance lol. Usually we are going back to the car and she tries to open someone else's door or keeps walking right past the car.

She is not blonde.

Off topic, but this comment above would be great for us as consumers. (I’m not optimistic though).

Back on topic, enough said, but no a different model priced *very* differently wouldn’t affect the brz much.
Might even strengthen sales as the “cheaper” sibling.

I'm hoping that an underwhelming Supra underwrites a strong case for putting effort into the 2nd gen 86. I'd really hate it if the current car becomes a dead end for cheap RWD sports cars, just like the S2000 did.
