loud clicking/knocking noise after turbo install

So I installed my works stage 2 kit and everything seemed fine. It ran for about 5 minutes, no unusual noises. Then about the time the engine temp needle hit the cold line it started making this horrible clicking/knocking noise. It almost sounds like a diesel or something. I can't quite pinpoint it, but it seems to be coming from the left side of the engine, nowhere near the turbo.

Are you being sarcastic? Because it didn't sound like this before, and it didn't sound like this while it was warming up.

Are you boosted as well? It's just weird it was as quiet as stock until it warmed up, then it got super loud. I know they are noisy little engines to begin with, but this is MUCH louder.

I'd start by checking for an exhaust leak.

^^^^what Lantana said. Every 3 months or so my turbo discharge to downpipe connection gets a leak for some reason, and it sounds very 'ticky' sounding. This is a clicky, ticky sounding motor to begin with. Aftermarket injectors will add even more tick.

I've had exhaust leaks before, and it really doesn't sound like that. I'll give it a good look over and make sure all my exhaust connections are tight.

I'm not sure if you watched the video, but its pretty loud. More of a knock than a tick. I'll make another short vid to get a comparison of when it first starts up when its cold.

There was a tiny exhaust leak between the header and up pipe, but even right down next to it it wasn't that loud. I snugged that up, but it's still making the noise. I got a video of it before it started making the noise, then as it started making it.

I assume you have the car on the works stage 2 flash? Pull a log from cold start and post it here.

I just saw the 2nd video that sounds off to me also, something lose physically knocking?
