It was -40 overnight and I plugged my car in over night but when I went out to it it was unplugged, turned over slow but effectively. I feel like WRX owners brag so much about their cars in winter but if you prepare properly our cars are so much fun and handle so well in cold weather, as long as you aren't cruising through snow over a foot, then we just plow.

WRX drivers brag all the time about their cars, then 80% of them buy a new front and back bumper come spring.

I've started fine without plugging in every morning so far but the engine kind of whines. Gonna start plugging in now.

Why did he have to die for you to support his charity?

His charity probably spiked in visibility due to his death, tragic but like 99% of his fans did not know he had a charity, or practiced BJJ, etc etc.

I never knew he had such an amazing collection of cars, I knew he loved cars - but his garage :O awesome

Dude, it is in July... just pin it for now. Bring it back up in May, remind usin June and then talk about it July.

In other news, picking up my rims tomorrow! Bit of a drive down south of the boarder to get them, but saving myself about 300 dollars so that is very exciting! Hope the roads are decent, the Corolla is a decent highway cruiser but it really has zero stability/traction/braking aids haha (besides seasons old winter tires)

my parts collection is going to start getting pretty insane, I need to think about what kind of lugs I want now too!

I posted a picture to Facebook. You saw it there. The spring refresh will be a surprise (ish) to all. Maybe. I will probably spoil it all before then.

As most of you guys know I have horrible luck and it turns out someone backed into my car overnight. It's just some small paint scratches so I figured I would pay to get it fixed rather than claim it. Can small paint scratched be buffed out easier than touch up painting or vice versa?

Without seeing the scratches its hard to say. If its a light surface scratch you'll be able to buff it out most likely. If its a deep scratch you will need touch up paint to fill in the scratch probably. Sorry to hear about your luck!
