And a really good pinball machine in the 90's based on the movie.

Dabbling in audio equipment, I have stumbled upon some nice old tube radios from time to time. A nice early 50's bakelite Rogers or Electrohome or Western Electric or Northern Electric table radio is an interesting curio. That and really old Garrard and Rekokut turntables and a few vintage oscilloscopes and you have the makings of a cool mad scientist man cave. And believe me, I live in a cave!

Nice old console radios on the other hand can be real wooden masterpieces.

Fast forward 20 years and we had the heyday of vinyl records, one of my passions these days.

I also collect / listen to vinyl...the ultimate in sound quality. I'm at about 1000 LPs, but pretty much stopping there. I have some good singles and full length LPS to be sold in the coming year, but as of now just 5-10 full length LP that I really want.

In regards to what others have said about the cars value over time, I'd agree / subscribe to the idea to come back 10-15 years from now, and look to see what values look like then. Beat FRD/ BRZ with say 125k+ miles, versus cleaner examples with say 1/2 the milage .

Then there is the element of inflation, as what your $25k can get you now, versus in 10-15 years from now. That's a whole other element, but would contribute to what values are attained on the 86 in ten-15 years from now. It's all relative though, if/ when the 86 slightly goes up in price, anything older will also....supras, 300z, NSX, s2k, Miatas, etc.
