Yea but no a lot of V3s sitting around to put together for an inline V6.

One reaction that I thought was interesting Autoblog's editor Alex K.

It's not a statement of Toyota's engineering prowess. It's hardly a Toyota at all. This isn't, at all, what the Supra name signifies to me, realities of this business or no. This is somebody else's work that Toyota is cribbing. It's a little sad.

I hope this conclusion incorrect but usually auto insiders know more about cars in development than we buyers.

Not sure how it could be incorrect. As I said earlier, it's basically "coachwork by Toyota". Sure they played with the drivetrain enough to LOWER the horsepower, but that really looks like that's about it.

I'm surprised they lowered the power. This is supposed to a super focused sports car while the z4 isn't. Also the $50k-$60 range is so competitive one would think the designers would push its power to the edge even in the "base" form.

These are the best views I've seen so far.

Seems like the supra is getting a lot of hate. I personally like it and it seems tada is hinting that its gonna be very underrated car.

I mean just looking at is stats... its gonna be a 4 second car to 60 and a mid 12 second car in the 1/4 mile tada also presumably hit a 7:40 ish lap time on the ring with a stock prototype.... that's faster than a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera.

sure it says it has 335 hp but i don''t believe it for a second.

and price spec wise, a similarly spec'd camaro ss is about the same price but id rather be in something nimbler than the camaro.

A bit of tuning and some 100 octane... this thing should be a weapon in its class.

I''m gonna wait out until there's signs of a manual coming, if not im just gonna pick up a second hand supra and DD with occasional track days.
@Guff I think the look will grow on us just like lexus.

Also i like that at least there are fake vents. some dremel, ducting and you have functional brake cooling... its not all bad. The only thing I hate and i mean HATE... is that trunk pass through that has no door and goes straight into the cabin

My stripped 3sgte Celica makes more hp lol. I'll hold judgement until I see one in person.
