Main vendors/websites for BRZ parts

Hi y'all, so this is going to be my very first Subaru. Long time Honda driver, I know the ins and outs and the companies that pour out parts, but coming to a new platform everything is very foreign to me.

I'm planning on modifying my BRZ not long after I (hopefully) receive it in December, what are the main suppliers for parts?

Are there any central websites that hosts a bunch of different parts?

Thanks all

There are tons of places

counterspacegarage.com
ftspeed.com
86speed.com
86worx.com
subiespeed.com
lateapexclub.com
oakos.com
Any Turn14 dealers
Any of the websites for the companies who actually make the parts listed on those sites.

Also btw, from what I've researched - suspension components like coils can be carried over from gen 1 correct? Is that the only interchangeable part between gens?

AFAIK body parts won't be able to carry over and obviously the engine as well. I think seats made for gen 1 can also be brought over

I would always hit up Mike or any of the guys at Counter Space Garage as well. They've always taken good care of me.

And then certain vendors only carry certain products. Like if you want some killer coilovers, MCS is would be one of my choices, especially since they are build in the US. get in touch with the gents at Vorshlag for those.

MCS definitely looks like a top choice but very pricey, although I'm sure it's worth the price. I was mostly eyeing BC Extreme Lows or some Teins

Vorshlag will be getting my '22 and measuring wheel fitment and measuring for MCS for my car the day I get it. They will also be weighing it and anything else they want to do since it's new.

MCS's current solutions fit just fine. I have MCS 2 way remotes sitting brand new in the garage waiting to go on mine when it gets here in a little under 3 weeks.

Do we have anymore updates on deliveries? A little under 3 weeks sounds amazing! I get all my news from you😅, so I haven't heard anything past your last update saying some were getting allocated. Mine has an October estimate, but haven't heard anything besides that.

First one to land up here is about 4-5 weeks away.

I know PNW should see cars in showrooms *hopefully* by the end of the month, given no issues at the port or finding a truck. And we know some east coast cars with October ETAs are looking at mid-November, so being in Texas, you're probably looking at early November to see cars hit showrooms. Again, none of that is official, LOTS of things out of Subaru's control can cause delays right now.

Of course I'm going to be out of town for a wedding when mine is supposed to land, so we all know that will be the one car that shows up on time lol.

That's one of the things I'm curious about as well. Are we going to be able to fit as much wheel/tire under stock fenders as the 1st Gen.

Well, if I could ask Santa, I'd ask for more space for front tires and suspension.

More would always be better. But IIRC, you could stuff 18x10s with 265/35s with unrolled fenders.

Add in a header/E85 tune. Going to be a seriously fun car.
