Took it for a drive, oil temps in the highway and city are down 20 degrees, steady in the 190 range. So is the coolant. Need to find some road to do some hard pulls but so far worth every bruise and cut from the install.

215 doing what, highway driving? Those are the ranges I had for oil with the DROC, with the dedicated oil cooler I'm in the 194 range on the highway doing 80ish. This morning doing 70 it was steady at 185. Coolant with the DROC was in the 205 range, now it's in the 190 range.

I am enjoying the Jackson Racing Dual radiator since two weeks now. It made a big difference in the engine performance. There is no heat soak anymore. The oil temperature was spiking above 200 at every pull. It does not do those temperature spikes anymore. Engine is always happy now. I wish I had done this earlier.

Curious if anyone here has messed with meth injection in combination with the JRSC?

Nothing really unique about running wmi with jrsc vs other FI. Lowers intake temps and has about half the gain as switching from pump to E85. With WMI and E40 I’m at about the same timing as is typical with E85 on my setup.

Who’s/what kind of controller are you using, and where did you place the nozzle ?

I'm starting to review forced induction options for this car as I'd like a bit more power, I really like the powerband of the jrsc for engine reliability. I also am not a huge fan of mounting a turbo near the radiator/fans and I do not want to deal with the possibility of a cracked exhaust manifold. Do people still have issues with rotrex unit failure? I haven't found anything recent.

New to the forums but wanted to share my experience after about a year with the JRSC. I got the C-30 factory tuned kit installed (by a reputable shop) on my '13 BRZ in April last year and after about 5k miles of mostly DD and weekly canyon runs, the rotrex unit failed on me. The unit started making a really high pitched noise that kept getting louder. Once I started hearing grinding noises and started feeling less power, I filed a warranty claim through JR. The customer service and helpfulness of JR was top notch! To avoid having the car sidelined for too long, I bought a new C-30 unit through JR so that my shop could replace the failed unit with the new unit in the same process. I got the refund for the new C-30 purchase within 4-5 weeks of me dropping off the failed unit at JR's office in SoCal. After 10k miles with the new unit, happy to report no issues! The JRSC is awesome and I have no regrets even with the failed unit experience. Driving the car is so much more fun, especially with better tires and a solid suspension setup.

Hope this helps

I can also attest to JR customer service. When I was in the process of ordering from a JR reseller, I had several questions and doubts. Oscar Jackson Jr. called himself to answer my questions.

This was 3 years, 35k miles ago. I installed myself. Installation was an impressive experience. No cutting or drilling was required. Kit simply integrated with the engine as if it is a factory option.

The engine power continuously increases on a smooth and steep slope with increasing rev. It feels like there is still much more power beyond 7500 rpm. At low rpm normal driving, the car is close to stock NA experience and I get the same mileage which shows the efficiency.

In 3 years, my c30 did not have any problems. But I had to replace the recirculation valve and maf extension cable. Plus I highly recommend JR dual radiator oil cooler.

You can't beat JR kit. Power band is more built for higher rpm and track use so if you like ringing the car out in NA form this unit is the best for that. If your not a hardcore track junkie the dual rad with oil cooler is perfect. Do it right from the start. If you want a turbo style powerband but with a SC I would look at eddlebrock

What causes the "whine" to be louder, and is it a problem?

Since swapping a rebuilt FA20 recently, I've been told the SC whine is more noticeable.

My car has been stripped and caged over the winter so I just figured I was hearing it more, but others are mentioning that is louder than it used to be, but it's pretty cool.
