^You better hunker down, because the Watkins Glenn event is the easiest of 3 Super Formula races (for the menu) by FAR. On Hard setting I could not beat the Fuji race. Did that one on "regular". But for it and the Sardenga events I didn't have any luck without tuning the car. I used Priano's tune on GTPlanet. Also changing your anti-lag setting to strong makes a huge difference. I had previously not fiddled with it because I thought it would tank my fuel mpg, but that was not the case.

Crap....lol. I refuse to put the difficulty back to normal. Haha. Assumed anti lag was on as default. Thanks for the headsup!

I think Fuji is a track I despise more than Willow Springs. It has zero flow and is super clunky.

My internet has been down at home for 3 days, so no new attempts from me.

Really? I don't mind Fuji. Just the last few corners are confusing to me in the sense that no matter how I take them, I don't think I'm doing it right.

I hate the final section at Fuji. The rest is fun.

Not a fan of T1 and everything at the final sector feels like they ran the track out through a parking lot and you end up on a go kart track.

Well, best I could do with my own adjustments on the SF23 Toyota (couldn't figure out how to tune it), I could only best 7th at Fuji while still on hard difficulty. I gave up and looked up a tune and used it. Was able to get 2nd about 9 second behind first while still on hard. I refuse to drop the difficulty down. lol

The new TT at Wakins Glen in the GR4 cars is a fun one. It's a lot easier to get into gold on these shorter tracks.

I tried three cars iirc, the R35, which got me silver. Then I always try the S15 in the Daishin livery (because GT2, lol), and got gold in a few laps. Then tried the 86, which netted me a .5 second quicker lap!

I also some how got gold in the wet Tsukuba in the TTS.

Haven't checked since getting my times to see if I've been bumped down to silver tho.

I gave up on the Tsukuba lap, I just didn't find it that fun and called it quits on a silver time.

I did a gold time in the R35, NSX, S15, and 488. I tried the 86 but spun a few times and gave up. I was most comfortable with the NSX but I think I tried 8 different GR4 cars.

Yeah, the 86 is rather easy to spin out for some reason. I don't remember if it's the Gr3 NSX or the Gr4 that I don't like, so I just never bother using either. lol. The 488 understeers too much for my liking. Props to you for getting gold times with both the NSX and 488.
