Just for comparative purposes, Ontario (like any Americans could give a crap, lol) was hovering at ~ 400 cases per day and now after 6 weeks we are sitting back up to around 600 cases per day. We have ~ 14.6 million people, incidentally.

The premier's health advisors are discussing pulling back full capacity allowances that were restored the last few weeks at gyms and other businesses again. I hope we don't have to step back again, enough business are devastated with government assistance cheques all but gone for the owners now.

It's funny how supposedly unemployment is relatively low yet looking at retail business I'd be willing to guess that's not completely true.

I for one really look forward to this being DONE once and for all.

Went shopping for records for the first time since the lockdowns, it used to be a weekly exercise visiting a huge new and used music store every week. Somehow with the spacing, disinfecting etc it doesn't feel the same. On the other hand there were a lot more uncommon records for sale than usual. I picked up some awesome Little Feat titles.

I think we’ve past the inflection point. I thought we could get back to normal the way we have with previous SARS, bird flu, etc. Normal being no masks, business like it used to be, no extra death rate.

We’re entering year two of this. It’s here to stay and figuring out how to adapt year over year.

Well I fucking hate wearing the mask. And sitting down for a meal in a restaurant is like a clinical procedure. Not to mention restaurants don't seem as busy as pre-pandemic. Maybe that's because I eat where a lot of old people go. lol At least the service is generally better.
