Does anyone have these wheels in bronze or black on an ice silver/steel car? I liked the OP with the anthracite, but just wanted to compare. I'm pretty dead set on these after a year of researching wheels and suspensions on this forum.

Thanks in advance,
J Greg

I've been looking for wheels since before I got my car and I just stumbled on this thread. These look great! Perfect fit, light weight, moderate price... Is there a Group Buy going on? I was not clear, but am VERY interested.

I've had the satin bronze ARC8 wheels for a year and a half. Just noticed two of them are visibly bent on the lip. No curb rash so it has to be from potholes, or uneven ground. How are everyone elses' holding up?

That's unfortunate. I have had mine on for a few months, no issues so far. I'd reach out to Apex and see what they say.

I sure wish these were not backordered, in all colors, I might add.

APEX ARC-8 17x9" ET42

Can any of you guys give me insight comparing these to the Mach V Awesomes? They seem almost identical on paper...

They do 50% off replacements, so $130 + $20 shipping each way, so $170 for a new wheel. Everything is backordered though because supposedly another shop bought out all their inventory.

The picture I posted above, the bend is only on the front face and local shop doesn't have the paint code to match it if they were to hammer it back. The "good" news though is the wheel is still round.

The other wheel was bent on front and back faces, so they are working on straightening it just from the backside. This one was oval shaped and needs to be fixed.

That's good to know they offer that deal on replacements.

What size are your tires? Sounds like it must have been a substantial strike.

Anthracite ARC-8 wheels on a stock 2017 BRZ PP with 245/40ZR17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires.

The BRZ has been an awesome fun car and I think the fitment of these wheels and tires have only made a great thing better. Very happy with the enhanced looks and handling.

The service from Apex was excellent.
