Controller user here. Don't want to fork over the 1600 for the set up I want. LOL

Haven't done any of these races yet but in general for GT7 I am using the controller and steering is definitely a pain in the ass at times.

I got my whole setup for less than half of that. It's not the best ever but it's a new world compared to the controller. The stand also will fit the higher end wheels so I figured I would break this once first before going ham. I do play on the controller though sometimes when I'm lazy. Like if I'm on the couch and playing other games but just want to get my daily grind in real quick..

If I exclude buying PS5 & GT7 25th Edi, I got my whole setup <$400 (T248 - $410 & GT-Lite - $85). But I did used $170 gift card from Best Buy.

Yeah I didn't include my PS5, or the game, or my 85" 4k 120hz Samsung Q80T lol. Just got a cheap stand a Logitech G29 with the shifter and pedals. When I finally break this one maybe I'll get a DD wheel like a Fanatec or a Thrustmaster.

Yeah, if I'm getting a wheel, I'd rather go all out, so pretty much all in or nothing. LOL

Would be the GT DD, 8Nm upgrade, load cell pedal, H shifter, handbrake, and some cheap stand to put it all on.

So far we have done:

Trial Mountain
Deep Forest
Tsukuba
Laguna Seca

There was a vote for Brands Hatch (I've never really liked racing on this track for some reason) the other week, so either that and or Suzuka East (stock GR86 is too slow for the full course, lol).
