Same place, different layout? Now you got me confused. Hahaha. That's why I said the peanut looking layout.

I don't think Button Willow is in the game. They are completely different tracks almost 2 hours apart.

Well now, I've mistaken their identities. LOL.

Willow Springs then is the track I don't like. HAHAHA.

Looking at the site, I think the "Big Willow" is what confused me. I got the "B" and "Willow" right tho.

Yeah, so…….. I don’t like that track. I did a couple 4 lap sessions in the GR86. I hadn’t driven it except for the circuit experience and wanted to know what I was in for. I think the gen 2 BRZ may be better here, the GR is super sideways everywhere, I did a 1:26.424 in it.

I'm telling ya, it's tire temps. First lap tires are cold, then you get 2-3 laps window where they're optimal. Then they get hot and go downhill. I posted about it here:

https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...&postcount=354

That said, I'm not sticking to 5 laps any more. It takes me at least 5 laps to figure out a track when I'm familiar with it!

I dunno, I really dislike Willow Springs. I might call it quits after a 3 laps if I get too frustrated with it.

On that note, haven't I been calling it Button Willow since the last league? LOL

I don’t know if I can get any faster than this, and I mean, I was giving it the BEANS.

Here are maps, randomized for next week. Reminder that we’re using the AE86 for first gen and the Shigeno Edition as 2nd gen!

Autodrome Lago Maggiore - West
Daytona International Speedway
Nürburgring 24h
Red Bull Ring
Tokyo Expressway - East Counterclockwise
Sardegna - Windmills
Autopolis International Racing Course
Northern Isle Speedway
Tokyo Expressway - South Counterclockwise
Watkins Glen Short Course

I'm going to go with either of the Tokyo Expressway courses. Seems fitting for the AE86. Haha.

Although Watkins Glen short and Red Bull Ring might be better since they're slower/more underpowerred cars.

Nah, Tokyo Expressway is more like 240Z, 911 Blackbird or R32 more (Wagan Midnight) lol

My vote is Autodrome Lago Maggiore - West. That course bites your ass hard if you brake incorrectly… especially underpower cars.

I actually think I preferred this track in the 2nd gen then 1st gen. I had to take a few stabs at this one in the first gen. A couple of the other times on there I kept cutting the uphill left but I finally got one clean.

I probably won’t take another crack at this one this week.

1st gen: 1:28.528
2nd gen: 1:26.425

Here's my lap in the first gen for reference. I really struggled with getting it rotated plus the visual references on this track are difficult. I am also finding it helps to run the ghost settings at +.3-.4 ahead of you and having the ghost reset to your best sector.
