Lol I've been reading the "light novels" for this anime that never went past the first season, and every couple episodes the protagonist has a new friend and it's pretty much always a girl.

And then a few novels back the author started adding new types of female side characters (AI and basically digitized spirit/souls of someone who used to be alive).

There are maybe 3 male friends and then 15+ female ones.

I'm just like geez man gimme a break they can't ALL be crushing on the protagonist. I guess at least his "one true waifu" tends to get over it and pissed off pretty quick but it's so unrealistic lol.
