TPMS Compatibility
This question is meant mostly for non-USA forum members (but anyone can answer):
I have been searching for many hours/days/months trying to find out if the non-US market wheels I want to buy are compatible with the US market, TPMS valve stems. The wheels I am looking at are the Enkei RCT5 and Enkei RS05, both 16" wheels not available through Enkei USA authorized distributors/retailers. Unfortunately the sellers of these wheels can't tell me with certainty that the TPMS valve stems will work with them. I tried contacting Enkei, Japan directly through their website but have not received any response (not even a, "those are not authorized for sale in the USA and so we have no comment."). I am hoping that there is someone here, outside of the US but whose cars have TPMS who have a set of one or the other of these wheels. p.s., The 16" RS05 are NOT the same as the 18" RS05RR available in the US. TIA |
