To be fair, that looks even worse. IMHO.

I'm just not one for stickers/graphics on cars though.

Face it, to do a proper AE86 Initial D tribute design Toyota should have made it look more like this. (Might be copy right laws etc. that stopped it.)

Agreed - that's the best option. Until someone does the Gen 2, I'm not sure how it will work irl though. The curves might throw it off.

This was at a local 'Sunset' Cars & Coffee last summer. I thought it looked pretty good. Wouldn't be my choice, but seemed well executed none-the-less..

So my trueno blue isn't a real trueno?? Sad events. =(

This should've just been a nice pearly white without any black on the paint-only mirrors and maybe side skirts and lip.

This site has the best spam posters. Their crap is often either interesting in some way, sparks funny responses or both.

We joke about how lame this Trueno edition is but I think it might end up being one of the most sought after of either gen. I came to this conclusion this weekend as I spent much of Saturday watching a bone stock AE86 that can only be categorized as a "runner" get more attention at a major car show than a lot of other (in my opinion) much more interesting old stuff.
