AHH! Completely missed that!

Things of note so far (I'm not skipping around much)

The manual says the rear seats are folded by pulling straps in the trunk. But then states that you can tell if the seatbacks are not in the locked upright position by the state of the release buttons. Not sure if the seatbacks can be released from inside. Odd omission.

BOTH windows are auto down AND up! And they will still work 45 seconds after turning the car off. Sweet.

There's a way to hang the filler cap on the fuel door. Finally!

still reading.....

I've never bought premium, but I know I've seen the E10 stickers before.
I wouldn't be too concerned about this, E10 is mandated or something in some places (I think California might be all E10), and all gas is 6% ethanol minimum or something. Ethanol provides charge cooling anyhow.

THIS is a relief:

The side airbags are NOT designed to deploy in the case of a roll-over!

So this won't happen:

This sucks a little because in CA, 91 octane (AKI) fuel is generally the highest to be found, but, this car will loose performance at 91 because it was designed for 93. Thanks Subaru for snubbing all of California.

I think it might just be low rpms where they have high EGR and therefore high cylinder temperatures...top end performance could be fine. We'll see.

If you're going to need the few extra ponies, pick up some real octane booster (that increases rating, NOT "points") and you'll be fine.

Back to the book:
This thing is full of interesting little gems. Love this one for the AT SPORT mode:

Why don't you thank the Great Socialist State of California instead? Why would a company (two of them, specifically) cater to that state any further than they already do? PZEV ULEV LEV HIFUCKYOU and all that shit already costs them a ton and California is not the world wide market.

Also thank you for the .pdfs, gentlemen.

Ahhhh, so many questions answered! The 1000 mile 4k rpm limit for the break-in period is going to KILL ME!!! Angel eyes are the parking lights and can be turned on and off, LED strip stays on no matter what. Also looks like that steering wheel with the buttons is officially dead, nowhere to be found in the manual. Do we get power folding mirrors?

Do not taunt Access Key.

Frickin' Hell - I think we'll need a separate forum for Access Key questions:
"Help, I can't lock/unlock my doors!" (will be a FAQ)
"Range issues."
"Battery issues."
Etc

Another interesting nugget of info, they say not to start the car in any gear other than first. No 2nd gear starts?
