awesome work, this is definitely something i'd be interested in. any chance the app could auto calculate what mix of gas to throw in to achieve a certain ethanol percentage? In the US, "E85" generally means E70-E85. Everytime I load up on "E85" I'd have to add at least a gallon of regular gas to lower the LTFT.

It would be possible to have the App calculating how much you would need to blend it. - However, the App only knows the current ethanol content but it does not know who many litres/gallons you have in the tank and it does not know the Ethanol content in the gas that you will blend it with, so it is missing most of the variables needed for calculation. But, if you can estimate how many litres/gallons you have in the tank at the moment and then estimate the ethanol % in the gas then it would be possible for it to calculate it.

Currently here in sweden my ethanol sensor reads 4% ethanol when running on standard gasoline. I can imagine that this number will be higher during summer time.

Please send me a PM if you are interested in the board as it is at this moment.

@Koa. Sorry for my late PM-reply.

The last weeks have been spent on the android app since the board it self seems to perform quite well. The board has been sent to a few persons who are testing it right now.

Also, a very helpful gentleman contacted me here and had some more ideas similar to what i was thinking when i started making this board and it is to have the ECA to send a specific type of signal to the ECU if the ethanol sensor detects contaminated fuel and then the ECU can tell us that by swithing on a warning light in the dashboard. - Im hoping that this is something that can be doable on the ECU side. The ECA only needs some minor software adjustments for this to work.

Still, if anyone else is interested in the board then send me a PM. It can be used along with the Zeitronix ECA in order to provide bluetooth output or as a standalone unit without the Zeitronix ECA.

The current Android app looks a bit better (my opinion) compared to the initial one:

I'd like to try to make one of these. When you say open source, is there a project page somewhere with source code and steps, or do I need get a beta PCB and code from you offline?

I've opensourced my flexfuel implementation, have used a PLX display rather than bluetooth transmission - there is plenty of code around for the latter:

Is the 0-5V output of this setup the same as the output for a Delicious Tuning Flex Fuel Sensor Converter?
I have a Delicious Tuning kit that broke and my car is tuned for it, so I would love to switch over to this open-source platform, and contribute to the Software side of the development!
