Two different codes, or is one the cause of the other?

It seems that the if the cam sensor goes AWOL then the cam sprocket will pop out from the bad timing.
I recently got p0018. Replaced the cam sensor on upper left hand side and nothing. Check engine light and traction control light came back on. I'm pissed

Bank 2 position A. Upper left side. Next to the battery. This code sucks...

Quick question, can anybody confirm placement of where the oil breather line goes that connects to the reservoir if you are not running a AOS or anything?

AVO Turbo Alternate Intake

I am installing my AVO Turbo soon and I was was curious if there is anyway to get say a AFE Intake modified to use instead of the OEM. I really like the cone intake from my AFE and would rather modify it than go back the the OEM intake box. Drawbacks I just realized were that the AFE doesn't have a direct MAP sensor like some other intakes. I have only seen one guy using a Perrin Intake as an alternative when using an AVO. Is there any others that may work as well? Thoughts?

I used the Perrin. Needed a little modification on the bracket that holds the intake to make it straight. Pretty straightforward. Don't know of any else that would work.

I agree I've been looking for something else. I'm thinking the blitz intake might work as well but I'm not as fond of them as I am of some other companies.

What did you have to modify on the bracket to make it fit?

It's held by a bolt to the radiator top support, needed to make a custom aluminum bracket to move the bolt to bolt to a diffferent location so that the intake sits straight. IT was really easy, just making two holes on an aluminum small piece.

Hmm doesn't seem too bad. Does the Perrrin have a good sound as well. I hated the oem and like my afe. I had a trd at one time I sold I liked as well.
