Is anyone else's dead pedal loose/making noise?

Mine is loose and it pops when I put any sort of pressure on it. I'll take it to the dealership eventually, but I was curious if I was the only one. It's quite annoying, I dont need to put much pressure on it at all and it clicks/pops.

I should mention that I have 1600 miles on mine

I don't quite have a thousand miles on mine yet but it is not a problem. I do drive with the back seat folded down and have a bothersome rattle in the area of the trunk floor but so far that's it for problems.

Mine pops all the time (7000 miles), and I just picked up the rear deck pop, and a rattle from my washer stalk.

I think I'm having a similar issue (more of a click than pop), but it's not bad enough to bother me... Yet.

If it becomes worse, I'll make sure to point it out at my first service visit. As of now, it seems so minor, that the service tech will likely have a difficult time spotting it (in my case).

Sorry, I wrote that on my phone. The windshield washer stalk/stick rattles. Most people would think it comes from their keys, but my frs key is solo.

I dont hear it making any noise, but I can feel it "popping" it I step on it a certain way. Not sure if I want to get new pedals from a vendor here or mention it to my dealer.

Wow, thanks for posting this
Mine's been loose since day 1
I just figured that when it pissed me off enough I'd get down there and tighten it up

I had an annoying rattle in the same area. In my case it was the wiring harness for the reverse lights. It may not be the same for your car, but it is easy to check. From under the car, follow the harness from the reverse light housing to where it goes over the driver's side tailpipe. Right at this spot, there is a piece of plastic wire armor covering the harness (about 6" long) that was making intermittent contact with the body metal just below where the bumper bolts to the body. I stuck a 2" piece of foam tape between the body and that wire armor. Problem solved. I have fixed several rattles/buzzing sounds in this car and should get to writing up a DIY on them.

O.P., sorry I can't help you here. I haven't had an issue with the dead petal yet.

Yup, I had the same problem. You kind of push on it hard and it squeaks. I'm a cyclist, so I popped off the dead pedal and took a small piece of bar tape I had laying around and put it under the dead pedal. Seems to have take care of the problem.

I also used bar tape to get rid of my door rattle. Versatile stuff.
