Kevin's from salvaged to track FRS

Picked up this previously salvaged title 2014 FRS down in Houston, TX and brought it all the way to Iowa. The car itself is basically stock besides some Stance Suspension coilovers and lower control arms.

Once I got it home, I swapped out the brake lines, fluids, and pads and took it for a spin around Mid-Ohio. Car felt great and was a blast to drive despite having some 500 treadwear all season tires.

Plan to turn the car into my weekend warrior track car that I can drive to and from the track.

Current Mod List:
Verus Engineering UCW Rear Wing
Verus Engineering Composite Front Splitter
FT86SpeedFactory UEL Header
Verus Engineering Hood Louvers
Perrin Oil Cooler
FactionFab FR-Spec Coilovers
Grimmspeed Strut Tower Brace
Grimmspeed Master Cylinder Brace
Hawk HP+ Pads
FactionFab Swept Slot Rotors
Verus Engineering Brake Cooling Kit
Apex EC-7R 17x9 +35mm
Falken Azenis RT660 245/40/17
Rays Gram Lights 57CR Ceramic White Pearl 17x9 +38
Falken Azenis FK510 245/40/17
Remark R1 Spec Titanium Catback Exhaust
Tomei Front Pipe
Motiv Overpipe
Recaro Profi SPG
Buddy Club Super Low Down Seat Rails

Will be trying to document the whole process through my YouTube channel and on here, so if you're interested in following along grab a seat!

Installed the Perrin Oil Cooler to take care of the high engine oil temps at the track.

Very nice, though I do think the FRS looks best with the spacer invaders plastic stuff in the front grille.
I painted the white hat on my crash bar using red plastidip and you actually can't tell the difference, I highly recommend if it you're going to leave it out there!

I actually ended up reinstalling the grille, but I am definitely leaning towards painting the crash beam black if I ever do remove the grille.

Lot of money to spend on some fancy lights

Probably won't be installing a set of headlights unless I need to do so for work.

I find the WL end links come loose easily. I would recommend some blue locktite. I have had to tighten mine twice in the last year, right front is making noise again.

Appreciate the heads up, I'll have to keep an eye on them.

Yes that would be I

It honestly isn't as bad as some people make it.

I'll do another video on my channel going through both sides since people complained.
