Smile DIY - Oil pressure sender and gauge (Auberins)

This is my job to install a smart gauge for oil pressure, very accurate and small. Wide alarm functions. Buzzer fitting too (opt).

Box it's a 1/32 DIN 22x45 mm and it fits very well inside "Push button start" box. You need to cut inner back . I mounted and fixed it with two plastic screws coming from two little clips (hot soldered).

About sender, you need unplug the cap near air intake throttle. You need a big torque as it is white loctite plugged.

Included wiring in combo is 3 ft (1 mt) and you need reach 2.50/2.60 mt . Max cable length admitted is 3 mt (9 ft)

From Auberins you need:
www.auberins.com/index.php?main_pag...products_id=226

http://www.auberins.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=226

SYL1813 A (A is amber)
10 Bar (150 PSI) pressure sender P210
The combo includes sender, wiring and gauge, $89,95

To install the sender you need an adapter : M18x1,5 - 1/8 27 NPT

Some shoots

Inside the SYL1813A (make holes for air vent)

Follow included Auberins directions to setup (Bar or PSI) and for removing SYL1813 box for soldering it with plastic nuts.

In conjunction with Torque Pro on Android HU or HKS OB link you can see all parameters you need while racing. Auberins SYL1813 can send a signal to open or close adding fan for oilcooler, too. Very impressive and amazing for maintaining a stock look of internal design. I hate all "tuning" gauges....mostly in the wrong place.

you need an extension wire about 40 cm, no signal degradation is evaluable, respect wire section and solder it. Preferably to join not in engine bay.

one more question, you do need to have 12V supply for this unit in addition to the 3 sensor wires right?
