Ram Air Intake Bumper Duct

Im kinda surprised no one has ventured out and made one of these. I know they are somewhat of a hit in the 350z community. It also makes sense with how the air box is positioned. I know several companies have made more of an "extended" intake duct but with mixed results. If someone made one and had positive gains I'd be on board, just curious how the rest of you guys feel.

I'd be interested in getting one, just not sure if there are instructions on where to cut.

the duct on the Z worked because the body was squared off. any holes on the bumper of the FRS will be oddly shaped due to the headlights and how curved the sides look. I don't see how they can do something that would be stylish for this car in that fashion.

then again i wouldn't do this even if it did look decent. on the Z maybe, not on this car.

plus Even if it works well for the z, I don't think the way the bumper is designed it'll bring any gains, especially with airboxes that we have. We might as well just tape the filter into the box and then open up the front half of the box as is and see what happens.

What @Fett4Real posted: Kind of a fix for what @CamryDS was saying about the square look. Is that what you meant?

@EvilBeaverFace Not really, What I was saying is that even if they do make one, it just doesn't look good.

The sides of the car itself are rolled around and not squared off, so the duct just looks bad in design. Sorry, no bueno on design.
