Cicada/clicking sound after installing factionfab Rotors/pads

Hey all, I just installed brand new factionfab rotors(FFA1.10038.1)(FFA1.10037.1) and pads(1.10066.1)(1.10067.1) and it seems like I’m running into some noise issues. The noise only comes from the rear drivers side of the car. The best I can describe it as is a cicada/ clicking sound, I can hear it while driving not even braking. I’ve read the slotted rotors can make a similar sound but it doesn’t make sense to why it’s only on one rotor. I’ve had them all off 4 times to make sure everything is correct, cleaned etc.

I don’t think so, the sound started right after doing the brakes and I did check to see if the wheel had play in it. I’m stumped.

can you hang the caliper up and off the brake disc on the car safely, and then roll forward 20 feet? that would eliminate 1 of the options.

That’s insane.

Lift the rear take it off and spin it by hand or start the engine and put it in gear if you want to try this OP. Idk what the solution is, video would help a lot.

Did you clean/lube the slider pins on all the calipers? The one corner might be sticking slightly and dragging.

I’ll definitely give that a shot. I didnt feel the need to do it at the time everything okay, but perhaps not.

Might be that you accidentally bent tin guard and now it's screeching?
