Random question of the day...

Anyone know a website where you can find a breakdown of the make/model of cars currently registered (not sold) in the US? I know it's public information but any sites I've been able to find are behind a paywall (and not a cheap one).

Buzzkill, but makes sense considering the value of property being serviced.

Has anyone ever built with VersaTube? trying to figure out if this would be a good venue to explore as it pertains to non-permanent structures around my house, so that I can protect the vehicles during the acorn season and subsequent strong winds.

I think what you really need, is some highly trainable squirrels.

We had a VersaTube shed at our one plant for a little over a year. Notice the use of the past tense. Strong winds are not their friend and they don't do snow well at all!

We replaced it with one of those simple fabric and frame carports and it remains fully intact 6 years later.

So what you're saying is, sprinkle some C.C on some of the acorns. I like it.

Good to know. Quite pricey for the shitty quality. I was quoted $3500 for a 15x15x8 with side panels.

I never ran into trouble but watched someone lose everything... And that stopped my custom parts side gig. Paint scratch or missing valuables or who knows what... Even theft of the car while in possession. And I still feel vaguely guilty for saying anything.

Hell, no. That's sage advice. Incorporation and insurance.

I have started a post about the risks a couple of times and just couldn't make it sound like I wasn't lecturing (not that that normally bothers me). The extra money is nice but thee risks are real and grown with every new customer.
