No, but you could have a cold of some sort and make me very sick.

This is why cars are great! Everyone can do their own thing and share their experiences. I wouldn't add oil to my gas, but other people also wouldn't be caught dead eating pizza 2-3 times a week. I'm still here! Doesn't mean it's healthy, but I feel great. Isn't that what's important?

Yes, the whole pizza. Science says that only bad can come of this, and yet I'm still whopping ass, have perfect blood pressure and continue on. Let people do what makes them feel better, and it may have a benefit, even if it's placebo. It may not be, @EngineeringExplained should do an article on this.

I fall into the camp of "I don't want oil going through my sensitive injectors". Oil residue coats everything and cakes on eventually, the same will be true for the fuel system. I imagine it also ( in large enough volume) will lower knock resistance. It may help one thing, only to cause issues elsewhere. Only time will tell as this becomes adopted maybe and practiced. Mazda folks add it to their fuel and don't seem to have injector or pump issues..

Oiling also tends to screw up catalytic converters, or so I'm told.

I look at it this way. If you are putting enough additives into an engine to make a difference with an issue you are potently causing a different and greater issue. It may take a while but eventuality it can catch up to you. Funny how the guys that are so worried about dealers working on their car are also the ones advocating dumping shit into the fuel.

Same. If it squeaks it squeaks, if it doesn't it doesn't. This is my 3rd DI car and they all had squeaking noises coming from the HPFP. It's normal but people have a hard time accepting it. The BMW forums have a subset of users perpetually searching for a cure for crickets too.

Mine stopped squeaking two summers ago. It is probably broken!

My cure for crickets was a new exhaust and more volume on the stereo.

Personally would not add any additives to fuel. I solved the chirp (unintentionally) with an e85 tune and fuel. 0 Chirps.

I add TCw3 to my fuel tanks. 6.8L V10 RV, 5.4L V8 expedition, Lawnmower and generators.. Love it.

Edit: I no longer do this on DI engines.
