Nub question here.
Just bought some new wheels, along with some fresh rubber to mount them onto. I'm planning to swap the TPMS from my current, stock wheels, onto the new wheels, and continue driving with the stock wheels (and tires) until they completely wear out. Once the tires on my stock wheels are worn, I'll be retiring those wheels and switch to daily driving my new wheels. My question here, is--since I'll be swapping the TPMS from my stock wheels, onto my new wheels, should I be buying universal valve stems to use in place of the old TPMSs' on my stock wheel and tire setup? If so, does anyone have any recommendations of valve stems to purchase? |

I both have renewed respect and feel incredibly sorry for Quality Engineers (who don't like what they are doing)...
Also, I miss designing stuff... Quote:

Whatever shop does the tires should have some generic valve stems on hand they'll charge you a few bucks for, I would just take whatever they have on hand.

Check inside the boxes of the wheels too. Might be taped under one of the hard face covers. |

Well Quimby takes you right up to 130/Mt Ham rd which you take all the way east to Mines rd towards Livermore. I used to visit family by ranging waters on the weekends and during down time, I would make a little loop up Quimby-130-Clayton.

Plug it? That's what I did with the General Tires I have on the Yaris a few weeks back. Took me 20 minutes to do it after I was able to get the car into the garage.

Don't use the diy puncture fixes. Take it to a tire shop and get it patched.

Not leaking but definitely looks deep, it looks like a small metal clip. It's about the size of an pen insert or a body of a q-tip. Just it's only been 800ish miles.
