I'd say at least 37% cooler.

I say significantly less cool because what the hell does the naming of the version exported to England/Europe have to do with the US version. /grumpy /pedantic

Funny all these people comparing the "new look" to the Corollas, Prius, TC when in reality, it looks more in line with the current BRZ more than anything with that stache being added. Maybe this one really is the updated look for the BRZ verses the GT86 as everyone is speculating?

I am guessing they will debut the face-lift GT86 in Tokyo Auto Show end of this month.

Any thoughts?

FR-S / BRZ facelift and buttlift spotted!

I will just wait, seeing is believing.

To me it looks like current brz+ WRX/STI fog + fang from 86.....which is worse then both 86 & brz's current look.

Yeah, it's like a mashup of all of them. I'll have to wait to see it uncovered before forming an opinion.

This concept was what made me fall in love with this car. It was so beautiful...

Now when I see the back of this car I just think of this:

I hate it. Been following this car since they even thought about making it back in 2007.... Still haven't bought it.

Actually I could totally go for that back bumper layout. Get rid of that damned dirt collecting, trunk loading obstacle of a flat part that currently exists. Every single piece of dirt or dust that the car throws up settles there and stays put.

If the next gen were to look more like the above concept, then i'll consider a trade in.

The ducts that seem to be behind all the static-y snow whatnot , could that just be where the radiator or even intercooler ends? On the left and right sides of grille, they look like they turn into the faux grille having the pattern of the grille but solid for support/strength, therfore maybe making it appear like ducts? Could be matrix-ing of our brains, seeing a pattern/image/form into the most logical choice because the information we're absorbing visually can't be translated yadayada..
The apparent ducts are in a weird location assuming they don't route to areas that would benefit, but seems like thay would waste engine bay space, and kinda far for brake cooling, unless once again, the ducts are routed or angled.
