Cape Town Man Dies after Crashing Toyota 86
Hey all,
Just wanted to let you know, a guy went off the R44 in between Pringle's bay & Gordon's bay an 86. Didn't make it. Not sure if he was a member here. A friend sent me these pics because it was an 86. It's an awesome twisty road and I have tailed(pushed) an A5 Quattro along there with a huge smile on my face, but I guess it's a reminder that we are not on a track and bad stuff can happen if we don't our cars. |

shit, that's bad...
i've done that road a few times myself, great fun but no room for error. since there's no licence plate i'm guessing it's someone who just got the car and was not used to it. damn shame... Last edited by Vladror; 04-20-2013 at 06:48 AM. |

There are roads like this all over the world, not all on the coast. It seem like fun, but the risk is far too high.
Have fun cruising these lovely drives safely and then go hell for leather at the track. At least if you come off it is a lot safer. RIP |

Last one probably taken after extraction. They cut the roof off to get him out.

Unfortunately the driver did not survive. RIP
They only discovered the body 2 days later after his parents declared him missing. He took ownership of the car a week before the accident. |
