ouch!!

About last month ago, A car in front of me ran over a 5 foot metal bar metal bar and fly right into my car. Luckily, I dodge it and didn't hit my window. However, not fast enough and hit my side fender. It pretty deep in. I painted touch up over it and it look like this. [IMG][/IMG].

Second, I don't know when, it seem like someone key my front bumper, again i touch it up over it.

I prob end my going to a body shop to re-spay my side fender and my front bumper.. more $$$ to the car...

I wonder if it isn't too late to make an insurance claim. At least look into it. I remember reading here that it only counts against you if the object was stationary. That was damn lucky it wasn't much worse.

oh bummer. I'd do a insurance claim then. That could prob hit as high as $1k depending on shop.

Edit, just text my buddy he says for something like my car cost starts at $400 and can hit up to 1k. If pearl paint, it cost like an extra $100 at times. So prob tops $500 for you to fix.

Oh ya forgot to mention, it's also has a small dent in the front hood. Good thing is that, you can't really see it. It right where the front bumper and hood grommet.

Wow man. Body shop qouted $250 for small scratch on my trunk lid. Worth spending money for a true fix. My damage was from vandalizing also.

Yep that was me. Something that is moving and hits you is comprehensive and has the lower deductible. Something stationary that you hit is collision and has a higher deductible. When I got hit by the magical, direction changing, flying, LCA on the highway they really tried hard to get me to say it was stationary when I made the claim. It was not and I did not.
