Busy week - installed the HKS L2 exhaust yesterday, took the car in to the dealer this morning to finally get the STI aero parts installed.

Looks great! I'm still waiting for my STI aero parts to come in, apparently half of them are backordered or unavailable entirely, fun times.

How do you like the HKS L2? It keeps catching my eye whenever I browse exhausts. Any drone?

Went out for a drive tonight and stopped at an abandoned scrap yard to grab some pics.

Loving it so far. Unhooked the engine speaker today, still need to record some in-cabin audio though. Drove around with a non-car friend today and didn't get any complaints about droning/noise on the highway.

Do you notice any drone or reverberations at cruising speeds? I like my exhaust noise to kind of disappear while cruising.

Nope, its pretty quiet at cruising speeds. Depending on the road other NVH will drown out the exhaust at around 3k - 4k.

If you're wondering about overall noise, here's whats on the HKS spec sheet:

The HKS L2 exhaust is definitely on the top of my mod list. Good to know that it's quiet at cruising speeds.
