Getting my other cars back on the road

I'm working on getting my other cars back on the road. I have I think 4 F40s, a few Ferraris, and a bunch other.

I like the rhino grill on the wall. No pie plates to go with it? For a minute I thought I was on the wrong message board.

Getting my Gladiator back on the road is my project for this winter.

Just sold my last Kaiser this weekend,J3000. I have a factory NOS Ramsey winch kit, bumper extension and all for sale. I've had 3 FSJ Gladiators. The rhino on the wall is NOS with the tag still on it from 1967. Didn't think anyone here would know what that was, lol.

Are you out of the Jeep habit for good, or just temporarily?

Mine is a '71 J4600, last year of the Gladiator but first year of the 360. I would be interested in that Ramsey winch if I hadn't just recently scored a good deal on a Hickey Sidewinder. Over the winter I'm planning to do a front and rear disc brake conversion with hydroboost, Dakota Digital dash, new floor panels, new gas tank and fuel injection, probably a Holley Sniper. I also found an original set of Cragar slot mags in 5x5.5, which I think will look slick on this truck if they'll fit over my brakes.

So what's your opinion on the crew chief 715 concept?

Out of the Jeep game now. The winch kit and the grill are all I have left. Selling the winch, keeping the grill as a nice man cave decoration for now.

Meh. I would much rather have the real thing.

It was one of these that got me looking for a J-truck in the first place. I was working in Oklahoma as a cameraman in TV news and was sent out to cover a brush fire. There was a curtain of smoke at the edge of the staging area where we were shooting some interviews. I heard this racket and turned in time to see an M715 converted to a brush truck with a tank in the back come roaring up the hill out of the smoke like something out of a movie. The guys inside were both grinning ear to ear.

I said to my reporter, "I gotta get me one of those."

Eventually I'll find one in the right condition for the right price, when I actually have the money and space to spare.
