i did consider doing electric floor heat when i remodeled my bathroom, but didn't because i'm not old, rich, or made of money from starwars reboots. so i did a linoleum floor instead that stays warm enough for my preference.

In that link, the guy is in Michigan and pays roughly 15.8¢ tier 1, and 17.8¢ tier 2 for electricity. Here in Idaho we have 3 tiers at 8.5¢,10.2¢, and 12.3¢. Ready? Here is California. You hit "High usage" after the first week in your average 3 bedroom house. Oh yea, New homes can't have natural gas or propane. Not green enough. |
