Looking for some feedback. I think the car has a bit more but any help would be great. Yes I know I need to work on my hand placement

2:05.7 Buttonwillow 13CW

Car Specs in Sig. Tires have 4 events on them. E85 was only at 45-50% for this run.

This is the exact time I'm aiming for next weekend!

I like how you setup bus stop.

Nice driving. Good time, and very clean and tidy.

Depending on how much risk you want take, it looks like you could get a little closer to the limit in the corners.

The best way to get more comfortable with larger slip angles in to spend some time on the skidpad/drift course/Fastsideways.com/ learning to get the car into oversteer on corner entrance and exit. You can also do this on some of the safer corners on track, but it just takes longer. You need to practice skid recovery until it's automatic. These car control skills will make you safer, and faster.
Of course, hand placement will also help you find center, after a big oversteer event!
Getting ride-a-longs with faster drivers is also helpful to see what they do differently.
You should joint the rest of the 86's at Thunderhill East on Dec 11th w/ SpeedSF.com
Have fun.

all solid advice. Plus with this being my daily still(trying to change this but need a tow/truck as a daily) I can't afford to wreck this car yet I live near the Porchse experience center in CA and I am planning to get some time on the skid pad for sure!

Made it to COTA this past weekend. Really makes me want to add power to the car, but for NA tuned this feels pretty solid.

Track: COTA
Car: 2014 FRS
Mods: Lots to list, most in my signature, full STX autocross setup plus a Zebulon TT5 spec wing and set of scrub Yokohama A005 slicks.
Time: 2:36.04

There's more time out there using 2nd gear in a couple more places, but not something I'm super comfortable with yet. 2nd time bringing the car to COTA so always have more things to do/learn.

Track: Motorsport Ranch Cresson
Car: 2022 Subaru BRZ
Mods: Ferodo DS1.11 pads and Vorshlag camber plates currently at -2 degrees, otherwise stock with a couple track days on the Michelins already.
Notes: This was actually my second fastest lap, I got a 1.31.4 a little bit earlier that day. Still plenty of room for improvement, if I can get a little more brave using less brake in especially the faster corners, amongst some other things I think I can squeeze in a low 1:30 or high 1:29.

first time at Mid Ohio using the GR86. I've done Mid-O once with an STi about 12 years ago and with my Camaro SS1LE last year. Was really fun once the rain went away and the track dried up! The automatic definitely hurts this car on the track but MUCH better once I got comfortable putting it into manual mode and knowing which gears were appropriate at certain speeds/corners (it still blocked me a lot because i don't think it likes to downshift into a high rev?).

Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires
Gloc R12 pads and RBF 600 fluid
Best time ~1:52 best guess flipping through my videos..

Next: Garmin Catalyst! (I had a mic on my license plate frame but i think it actually sounded better without the external mic and just picking up audio from the cabin.)

Get a sock(not official term) for the mic. Might help with wind-noise and sound
