There are simply too many choices out there. You need to do as much reading and research as you can to determine your exact needs and how you want to integrate your new head unit into your twin's sound system. There is a factory amplifier in the trunk that you may or may not want to use that gets its signal from the front dash speakers, filters out the high frequencies, and powers the door speakers. Welcome to the forum Nitewing1423!
Just an FYI: The factory head unit is not a Double DIN size. It is identified as a "200mm nose piece". This is the diagonal measurement of the dash opening. It is the same height as a Double DIN but the opening is about an inch wider than Double DIN. Spacer brackets are readily available to fill the gaps. But if you want a factory looking install, seek out a 200mm model. There aren't many but here are some: https://www.fasmoto.com/ICE/head-unit/head-unit-200mm |

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=128548 The AVH-ZL5150BT was not plug and play as shipped but an adapter harness is available here that is pretty good: https://autoharnesshouse.com Crutchfield is also known for providing good plug and play adapters: https://www.crutchfield.com There are Android based head units that seem to be quite good and plug and play as well but they are generally only available directly from China which is an adventure in itself. |
