I disagree with the statement that heat warping is "impossible". It is highly improbable yes but can happen. As I said above it takes some super extreme conditions to do it though. Normal performance driving just does not create those conditions and if you are street driving your passenger car to the point you manage to heat damage (probably a better word than "warp") your rotors you are a menace to society and shouldn't be driving anyway.

Considering OP started a thread complaining about how the brakes on this car are the worst because of an inability to inspect them without removing the calipers, I’m surprised that you helped as much as you did.

I get that it’s inconvenient to do brake inspections if you have to remove stuff, but that’s the whole point of routine inspections at a dealer. You pay them to take stuff apart to inspect, same with decent mechanics.

Some people just think “DIY” = cutting as many corners as possible.

1) Go to the first car you see in any parking lot.

2) Look inside the wheels

3) This is what you will see.

Shocking that this is news to some people.
Is the BRZ your first car ?

here's my ranger, which has a similar design dual piston calipers as the brz.

you did say any vehicle.

i can take a picture of my dad's f-150, or my mom's suburban, but those are also dual piston designs, so expect the same thing

LOL, have you ever tried Googling parts quality ?
It's like Googling about what oil to use.

@Tristor knows his stuff, so I will ask him directly.
