Anyone headed out to the ridge in July? Hoping to make it to one of the Turn2 lapping days.

I'm not really sure. I didn't plan on running at all until fall but I am in a bind right now. I'll try to post up with notice if I plan on running but it is going to be pretty sporadic for me this year. I'd really like to put more time at PR to be honest. Feel like I need a bit of change and I have grown a bit too comfortable at the ridge.

I'd like to spend more time there as well. I've only been once but got really comfortable with that track really quickly. Even in the wet. Too bad ProFormance is often running mid-week lapping days which can be challenging with work.

I might take a look at the dates and try to get out there late in June as well. Let me know if you ever make any plans.

I've been thinking about trying 17x8 wheels for more feel/fun. And possibly switching out my CSG FLAs to something a bit nicer. Haven't done anything to my car besides removing the supercharger in a long time.

How are those T2s?

They are a bit harsher on the street with a slightly stiffer spring rate then the FLZ's, but feel more composed. Kinda hard to explain, one of those have to feel it things Haven't really driven them hard yet.

When I drive around with ladies in my car with my Tarmac 2's they complain that they need a sports bra as their lady parts bounce around a lot.

I remember this. You were the one who's exhaust headers fell off their car mid lap right?

Ha! Hey man! Yeah, sorta. The header -> overpipe flange bolts came undone. It sounded mega but wasn't running very well For a couple laps I just thought my car sounded more racecar than I remembered and then it started stuttering off throttle. Good times.

Haven't been back since, but really want to.

I haven't done the ridge yet. It's close to two hours out from where I live (Seattle downtown), while pacific is just a 40 minute drive. It's a lot more manageable for me to take a day off and hit up pacific than it is to do the ridge, in terms of departure and return times relative to seattle.

The Ridge is worth it. It is 182 miles for me

I think PROFormance is still doing lunchtime lapping too. Hop on down for some laps during an extended lunch break and then back to work.

I agree the Ridge is worth it as well. My appreciation for Pacific has improved since they redid the 5a/b, 6 curbing and the better FIA curbing in 3b. Really improved the experience and reduced some of the danger. Those previous curbs in 5ab/6 were 2 feet tall and I've seen them rip out undercarriages before.

The Ridge hadn't paved the chicane yet when I ran there earlier this month but the skybridge is done and it's very cool and it looks like they're setting up to add more pavement/paddock really soon as well.

+1 on the ridge being worth the hike.

The only thing I don't like about it is the curbing on the outside of 8b and up the hill. It sucks you in if you track out onto it.

I also don't like that I'm not as fast as y'all around it

Yeah I hate that curb. I think they knew they messed up after they put it in.

Water always ran across the track a bit where that access road is on the front straight. Wonder if it will be worse with the chicane there.
