6 pages and no mention of spring rates? They must really be not intended for performance use huh? Are they all show, no go coilovers?

If you're looking for "performance" coilovers, these aren't the ones for you. Simple as that. If you're looking for a softer ride and highth adjustability. You hit the jackpot with these coilovers. Hopefully this helps

Any ST users getting some "spring pop" noise in the rear when cruising over bumps or inclined driveways? I have HVT camber plates up front with no helper springs, and they are quiet and perform great.

In the rear, I'm using the stock top hats with the helper springs and I get a lot of spring noise. In addition, the plastic dust sleeve on my left rear cracked and separated from the bump stop and has slid down to the threaded portion of the shock body.

I'm dropped a little over 1", so it's not like I'm slammed or anything. But the spring noises and the cracked dust sleeve make me wonder if something wasn't installed right or if I needed something extra to make the stock rear top hats work better. The instructions that came in the box weren't the best ever.

Has anyone sprayed/painted/covered the system with anything to protect the galvanized components from rusting?

They come coated.

They are galvanized, but are still susceptible to the elements. Was just wondering what other protective measures people have taken.

In Europe we have 3 stage of ST coil over and 2 stage are ofered for the GT86

-ST X coilover not adjustable
- ST XTA coilover rebound adjustable and adjustable top mount
those look like KW V2 with adjustable top mount

Do you think the ST X are the same as the one's offered in USA?

for GT86:

I know the link has already been posted but they share the same rates as KWv1/3 coilovers and are in fact the exact same as a KWv1 with a different shock body material. While not the ideal coilover if you're building a track focused car, they are by no means "all show, no go". They will perform better than the OEM setup for spirited drives and on the track.

Has anyone encountered any issues with end link length when lowering on their ST's? I haven't read anything regarding it so far. But, I'm about to install mine in two weeks just don't want any surprises. I'll be lowering it around 1.5" or so.
