Put it all together and dyno it.
I am very interested to see what this develops and what issues if any you run into.
I'm hoping this engine responds well to NA and am following this thread with baited breath.

I went with a Pauter rod. They are a little heavy but super strong. I know they do custom setups and are fair priced.

Another vote for pauter here. They make a great rod, and offer titanium too if you want to get crazy.

Need to go as light as possible on the rods within a budget.
This build does not really need a 1000HP rod which are usually heavy.
Ti costs $700-$1000 per rod. Although I like the idea financially my wallet is screaming, should be against the law.

Agreed since your not boosting a H-beam would live forever and be lighter.
Pauter's weigh 587g and list for 984 bucks for a stock set

Actually considering Aluminum, ignore the myths and rumors on stretching based off alloys in the 1960's bigger advancements 40-50 years later.

I would suggest against it.

Can you share some info on these rods? Will your car be a daily driver or more of weekend warrior?

What intake and exhaust manifolds will you run? Intake is the problem for raising peak power rpm point.

I'm on board with everything in this thread, except for aluminum rods....theres just no need for them. The fatigue rate vs. Lightweight just isn't worth the use. There are a countless number of engines using steel rods and spinning into the 12,000+ range.

So if it were me in your shoes id opt for some brand of h-beam steel rod(personal preference would be carrillo) since pauters are off the table due to wieght.

It all depends on what aluminum it is.. who knows what aluminum was represented in that graph on wikipedia.. but for the right price, I bet you can get some rods made out of 7075-T6 or an even stronger alloy.

EDIT - Aluminum rods are still a maintenance item http://rrconnectingrods.com/aluminum...K0saAh9z8P8HAQ

EDIT 2 - More info http://www.dragzine.com/tech-stories...yths-with-grp/

Moral of the stories are if you want long life, don't go aluminum.
