If that's the case, I agree; they wanted to make a car with the widest powerband possible. The 2020 Supra's engine, real world, has full boost at 1400rpm without lugging the engine. My M3, lugging, would barely have full boost at 2400 rpm.

The supra's torque tapers very early....
Yes, the head is also designed for early spool. I built a 22r 2.4 toyota that hit full boost at 1200rpms 20 years ago.

You should check out the 2021 variant with the 6 port head and dropped compression!

That should help greatly. I see a head swap in your future.
Maybe a wrecked z4 donor.

I'd be more interested in a S58 head swap for the extra fueling overhead....

Didn't know that was possible.

Possible... is a bit of a stretch, as it would need a LOT of work.

That's 15k spent, when only 5k is on the turbo. is the additional 10 really worth it even if you only want 250-300 whp?

80mph is only 7500rpms, 1500 shy of the 9000rpm redline.

logs show 60-100mph at 4.081s This is with one casual shift at 7800. Shift was a half second(.500s)
I found another log that shows 60-80 at 1.459

Do you want 250-300whp, or do you want reliable 250-300whp?

Most people go the route of the former, and then wonder why they have problem or talk about "the curse" when things go wrong.

Any reason why you recommend the above S/C in alphabetical order? Definitely different setups just curious why?
