With maintenance intervals being longer on modern cars, and warranties being typically under 5 years, it isn't really a problem. In fact I've had warranty work done on cars I bought used and had zero records for. Most reputable dealers aren't going to fight warranty work since it is money for them. I suppose something where they feel the work is more hours than they can justify might be different.

Oh absolutely, but there are ways they can deny warranty claims. Didn’t bring your car in for every recommended service? Denied! Installed a K&N filter? Denied! (I know there is a specific law preventing that, but a manufacturer can deny if they feel the aftermarket part caused the warranty issue. And VW/Audi stretches that to an absurd level. Mostly VW, I think Audi is much better about it now)

I’m being a little dramatic, but VW has denied warranty work on some of my family members cars for very petty reasons. Could you fight them over it? Sure, but it will end up costing you more, and they know it.
As far as Hyundai and KIA are concerned, I don’t have any personal experience with them, but I’ve read plenty of stories. And everything on the internet is true.

I'm sure there are, and if they do that, well, guess what make (not just model) of car I'm never buying again?

I've bought only a small percentage of my vehicle history new. Between new and used but still under warranty, maybe 50% of the cars I've bought. I put enough miles on vehicles that warranty is almost meaningless as I typically burn through the mileage in less than 3 years. I've also never had warranty work refused, so there is that.
