My second time on track at CMP, west track. By no means setting blistering times, but getting a good feel for the car. I definitely want some RS4s for 2021. PS4S are good but I could feel them overheating towards the end.
Still waiting to get signed off to run solo, so I had a instructor shotgun giving me line pointers.

Looking forward to 2021 when I have money out aside for consumables to get signed off and run the full circuit. Also need something to lock my belt. Shifting mid corner is a PITA when you are being tossed around the seat.

This is my favorite few laps while chasing down a DE3 driver in an R35 at Watkins Glen. It was his first time at the glen and he was running high 2:13s so we were pretty close. It was just fun to reel him in on the twisties and watch him disappear on the straights. My fast lap was the last lap of this video. 2.14.1. These were my first laps of 2020. I am pretty rusty. Enjoy.

[QUOTE=DocWalt;3378146]I was bored and did a side by side of you vs the 128i

Thats awesome! Thanks for that... way cool compare!
First thing I noticed was the amount of steering input or "catching" the car by the 128 driver. Of course, maybe I wasnt as on the ragged edge as I could have been. Timing showed my fastest of the weekend less than 2 tenths ahead of his fastest. I have no idea how 86's typically perform against 128i in similar prep.

Yeah most people don't run 128i haha. He's got camber bushings, coilovers, full exhaust & tune and nothing else, been working on development. Looks a touch loose, haha

Nice comparison Ken. Actually pretty interesting to see how the thrust of the 128i compares to momentum on the FRS. I thought there'd be a wider gap post apex where the 128 would make up sector times on straights.

And yes, the 128i can be a bit lively with the rear end.

Track: Toronto Motorsports Park (aka TMP or Cayuga)
Car: 2020 BRZ
Mods: Worse than stock. Running on some used Enkei wheels with 3 year old BFG all-season tires (factory size wheels and tires).
Notes/Comments: First time tracking the BRZ so I kept nanny systems on and minimized shifting.
