No such thing

Are you tuning for innovate customers or not?

This is the vortech thread right ?

I don't have any exclusive tuning agreement with any supercharger company, just tune referrals

I didn't say higher level kits, I said stage 1, not counting any additional header, pulley, or fuel mods.

The other Stage 1 Vortech dynos out there have been ~250WHP and most of those had exhaust mods anyway. Yes, with pulley, pump, headers, we're seeing closer to 300 on Vortech.

The other Stage 1 Innovate dynos out there have been ~210WHP.

My point being, for basically stock Stage 1 dynos, your numbers are on the high end for Vortech and low end for Innovate. Good to see more datapoints, but as a useful statistic, it gets lost in the averages with the rest of the data population.

The Dyno sheet was a good comparison and that's why I posted it.

The innovate kit is a good option just not my favorite one , the vortech seems to produce better and more consistent results on pumpgas.

Truth be told I love the HKS kit.. It's just overpriced and under powered out of the box

John
FWIW, that Innovate dyno was done with 102 degree ambient temps. As opposed to the Vortech dyno which was done at ambient temps in the neighborhood of 70-80. Not sure if that makes a difference with SAE calibration or not, but it's worth mentioning.

I think I remember you told me before I bought my tune from you. You said. "I worked directly with vortech for this tune". Over a phone conversation. But with your tune I was approximately 210whp like @RedAlert was as well which is totally fine with me no estimate of power was given I just assumed I'd be 250ish going by vortechs website.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...NO.

Stock, out of the box 91 octane Vortech vs. Brand X with headers + E85 or W/M maybe...(probably still 20-30hp less though in reality).

Cool post, bro. Way to contribute to the community. Keep it up.

Remember, when the Vortech kits were first released they were making similar power to what some of the Innovate guys are making now. It hasn't been until the past month or so that tuners have really unlocked the Vortech kit.

All true. Maybe I should have LOLed instead? I know I may have touched a nerve with you, because you have the Brand X on your car. My point was that perspective has to be kept here. If you want to compare that new Brand X kit to our original 6psi kit that isn't even sold anymore, I can agree with you all day. However, you can't compare it to the current system and say they make almost the same power, because it simply isn't true. No matter what, with similar mods, similar fuel, etc. under similar testing conditions, the 2 systems will not produce similar power...for a number of reasons. They are just 2 different products.

Absolutely never said that

I might have said that I pay a visit to vortech and did some work onsite, that doesn't mean they sell my tunes. They actually have some really talented guys working over there.. Their tuning is impressive.. Something I wouldn't say about everyone.

My 91 octane make 220-230, my 93 makes 250

He contributes just fine.... this IS a thread about discussion on vortech systems, maybe he is annoyed that its starting to go off course and wants to defend the vortech system

The tuners did not unlock the vortech kit IMO... the upgraded compressor did

They're both on the same tune right? Or is there a separate one tweaked for 93?
