Steering Wheel Adjustment or Spacer

I wish the steering wheel telescoped closer to me an inch or two more. Is there a way i can adjust or add a spacer in between the column and wheel? I would like to keep the stock steering wheel because of the airbag.

Thanks for your help/input

Are you sure you are using a proper driving position? Because it gets plenty close for me and I'm 5'7", not exactly very tall guy and I still find it a bit close.

It's a tall people issue with long legs regarding steering wheels that don't come close enough to the driver... I'm 6'2" as well and could use another couple inches of steering wheel travel back. That, or a nice ergonomic seat that could be positioned in a better driving position... like 2" lower with a more angled back rake to get closer to the steering wheel. Seats are too dang high in this car...need to be lowered 2" from stock to be comfortable and to not have to hunch down, lean forward, and tilt your head up to physically be able to see traffic lights at an intersection...

I wouldn't mind a spacer for the steering wheel, not sure one exists. Spacer won't help with the non-ideal seating position though...
