Didn't notice the 25th anniversary races and gave them both a try. The first one at Spa, I went in with the GR86 and boy is that thing fast. My mistakes on the rain and going on full wets cost me the race but managed to only have to fuel once, filling to 3/4 of the tank.

Escudo race took a little to get used to, came in 2nd because I made a mistake on the last lap by braking a little too much. Escudo is very twitchy.

Sneak Peaks of the new Gran Turismo Movie. Camera angles look sick.

GT7 is also getting a free update for VR2 gameplay. Welp, time to start saving for a headset.

That is a gamechanger. The biggest issue I have with learning tracks is the lack of depth perception makes it a bit hard to judge speed and braking points on a TV/Monitor. And I already have bad depth perception.

I agree, for example, I haven't tried playing on a controller so I can't speak for GT7, but back a few years ago, NFS SHIFT 2 had this feature where you could use the right analog stick for a free view, this helped at times but kind of hard to fully apply. Having the ability to move your head around for better track perception/anticipation on turns would add a layer of immersion. Im all in for it. For those who can afford it, great.

I have almost 20 million and can afford the 250 GTO soon from completing all of the circuit experiences, which pay out about 1,200,000 a piece. Still working on the nurburgring, which pays out 5 million but I was off by 1.2 seconds. But anyway, I'm starting to run into a problem where having spent so much effort to make all this money, I no longer want to "spend" it on a given car. Why? I can't use it in any races basically and I could buy 50 others instead.

But 250 GTO...

Edit: went and bought the GTO

I've just realized that the PS5 controller has a gyro mode, lol. So I gave it a shot. Holy shit, once I got used to it, it's like a completely different game now! I played AC on a super high end sim rig ($2000+) and still the car handling in GT7 feel way more realistic to me. Wow, getting a wheel is so tempting now, lol.

Happy belated birthday!

I think they gave me one of the Nissan GTR race cars, luckily the one I didn't have already. Not sure how they determine what car to give you, but I did choose Nissan once or twice for the manufacturer's cup (that I never actually competed in since I was always at work at the race times).

Happy birthday! When it was my bday, I got an NSX. Still don't think I've driven it, lol.

Yeah I know how you feel. It especially sucks because those Circuit Experiences are one and done (as they should be) and that leaves basically nothing repeatable to earn similar money. How is the 250 GTO? I've got 33,000,000 Cr right now burning a hole in my pocket...

I almost bought the McLaren F1 longtail race car, but why the F does it cost $10,500,000? The very similar AMG CLK-GTR is only $2,500,000. I can't justify that greedy crap.

I like it. Only took it for a spin once so far but I love the way it rotates into corners. I saw that an F40 was in the legends section so immediately did 2 more circuit experiences and made 3 mil for it. Didn't want to let that one slip away. Yeah the McLaren pricing is weird.

Anyone manage to do well in the Cayman GT4 time trial in Sport on the Nurburgring GP? I can't get below 1:16, the thing understeers like crazy. Weird cause the previous time trial I was <3.0% in no time
