Leased mine September 16th 2013, but fell in love so I bought it out in 2016.

Lots of miles since then. Will be doing spark plugs for the 2nd time @ 180k miles.

Your voltage is a tad low.

Yeah…every 3 years during winter my battery goes out completely. I just happen to be on year 3 of this battery, and winter is coming lol

Seems like you should get more than 3 years out of a battery, maybe try a maintainer when its parked?

P.S. - Gen 1.5 Dash Swap?

Did you do a gauge cluster swap?

Never done a maintainer but that’s a great idea. Just a standard size battery too.

But yes this a gauge cluster from a new Gen + the GeraldJustProjects controller.

Three years does seem unusually short. The heat kills batteries pretty quickly down here in Texas but even then they usually last for about four. I'm on my second Braille battery now and the first one even lasted longer than three years (though it spent the last few months on a maintainer when the car sat for more than a week).

Anyway, great "action pic"!

Thanks for the insight, I'll be very disappointed if I once again have a 3rd-year battery failure.

This is a pretty heavy-duty battery I have (8lbs heavier than stock lol) and when I started it on Saturday the voltage went above 14 so I think this one will make it a couple more years.

Not a MY2013 but an original owner of a 2016.

Was garaged and only driven 9K total for first 4 years of ownership.
Currently at 48K and daily driven.
Drove it from NYC to LA for relocation, in 3 days.
Planning on keeping it for my future kids
